How to Personalise Your Phone Case
Before using the UPPERCASE online personalisation tool to customise your phone, start with what personalised text do you want to add to your case. Is it a monogram, name, lyric, quote, a special date or something else? Here is a quick guide on how to use our online personalisation tool to add custom text to your UPPERCASE phone case.
Choose the Appropriate Phone Case Type
Before embarking on the entire case creation process, you must first decide between the slim and lightweight snap case or the strong case with a rubber bumper layer for added protection. Additionally, you need to select the correct iPhone or Samsung model number for your phone.
To find your iPhone's model number, navigate to Settings > General > About > Model Name.
To find your Samsung's model number, go to System > About Phone.

While you may have a vision for your phone case design, seeing it come to life is a whole different experience. Select which style of personalisation you want. From classic text to bold initials, choose a personaliation that suits your style!
Personalised Lettering Phone Cases
1. Your first option within the UPPERCASE Personalised Case Builder is to select the 'Case Colours'. The colour you choose here will determine the colour of your case. In the image below, the colour 'Rose' is selected indicated by the second row that also shows related colours to Rose that you might want to choose. Feel free to click upon the various colours until you find that suits your style.
2. Next, the box underneath 'Type your text here' is where you need to click to insert your personalised text for your phone case. The name 'Olivia' is written in the box as an example and also appears as a preview on the phone case on the left. Below the box, is a minus and plus icon ('-' and '+') that you can click on to adjust the size of your text. Make your personalised text larger and more bold, or smaller and more subtle. The choice is yours!
3. Lastly, you can adjust the colour of your personalised text by selecting the different colours underneath 'Text Colours'. You can also change the font by clicking on the drop-down menu underneather 'Font' and choose many different fonts.
While designing your case, choosing contrasting colours between the colour of your case and the text can create a bold look. Ie. choosing a dark red case colour and a light yellow text colour will make your text pop. However, if you're going for a minimal look, you can choose any colour you like for your case but choose a related colour for your text.
We recommend experimenting and choosing a range of different colours and fonts until you find a style you like. Once you're happy with your design you can add your personalised phone case to your cart by clicking the 'ADD TO CART' button on the buttom.
